The Toccoa Falls College men?s soccer team concluded its 2024 season with a 6-10-2 record, falling to Bob Jones University in the regional semifinals. Despite the early playoff exit, the Screaming Eagles achieved a milestone by securing six wins?the most in a single season since the team?s 7-win campaign in 2017. This marked a season of growth and promise for a young squad filled with potential.
Senior Judah Berry capped off his collegiate career with a standout season, leading the team in both goals (6) and assists (6). His leadership and playmaking earned him a spot on the NCCAA All-Region First Team. Also leading the team in goals was senior, Coleton Davis, who matched Berry?s tally of six goals.
Defensively, Toccoa Falls was anchored by the strong play of Santiago Hidalgo and Jibril Ahmed-Jovani. Both defenders received NCCAA All-Region Second Team honors.
With a roster consisting of 21 freshmen, one junior, and three seniors, the Screaming Eagles were the youngest team in the region. While presenting challenges in consistency, the youth also signals a bright future and demonstrates the team's potential for growth and development in the coming seasons.
The team is proud of what they accomplished this season, and there is a lot of excitement surrounding the program. As the Screaming Eagles look ahead to 2025, the program?s focus will remain on developing its talented young roster and continuing to recruit additional talent and players.
